Day 1; Flight to Entebbe.

Upon arrival, you will be picked up and be briefed about the next program

Day 2; Arrival at 5:20am and go to Murchison (visit Ziwa Rhino)

After breakfast you set off for the drive to Murchison Falls national park. Be there around lunch time. When you have finished your lunch it is time to experience the top of the falls. It is amazing feeling to stand their enjoying the view and hearing the water roar. Have a relaxed evening at the lodge.

Day 3; Murchison fall park

Get up early in the morning to meet the animals of the savanna. During this morning game drive, you can see Giraffes, Elephants, Lions, and more. In the afternoon it is time for a boat cruise on the mighty Nile spotting for example Hippos, Crocodiles and Birds on the shores. Spend the night in Budongo forest (part of Murchison Falls) to get close to the jungle.

Day 4; Murchison falls Park and go to Kibale

After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to the top of the falls (if you didn’t hike) where you will have spectacular view of the falls before departing for Kibale NP. Else, depart right away (after breakfast) for Kibale Forest National Park. The drive is incredibly scenic, passing through villages, lush green countryside and hills dotted with tea plantation which characterize this part of Uganda. Kibale NP is popular for its primates like the Chimpanzee, Colobus monkeys, Gray cheeked mangabeys and Red tailed monkeys. On your Chimpanzee trails, these are regularly seen swimming in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. You will reach and do little but check into your accommodation where you will have dinner and overnight rest.

Day 5; Chimpanzee Tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast and head to the trekking point where you will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will proceed to trek the chimps in the Kibale Forest. An experienced ranger guide will take you chimp tracking and you will be marveled by the sights of primates here, once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. Return to your accommodation for some rest time and lunch. Later go out for the bigodi swamp walk. The Bigodi wetland sanctuary is a fascinating area, located in Magombe swamp. The area is recognized for its extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primates’ species like the Baboons, Black and white colobus monkeys, velvet monkey and the L’Hoest monkey. The Bigodi is also a paradise for birds watchers. Later you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 7; Ishasha and go to Bwindi

This morning, you start your journey to Bwind National park en-route to the Ishasha Sector. You will drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha Sector). This part is famous for its tree-climbing lions. While lion cubs around the world frequently climb trees for fun, adults rarely do. However, these lionesses enjoy spending their time snoozing in fig tress to get away from the tsetse flies and to enjoy a cool breeze. This is the most memorable sight in the park as you have never seen such photogenic lions posing for your camera before. Meanwhile, don’t miss the stunning scenery and superb birdlife in this southern remote section of the park.

Day 8; Trekking Gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early breakfast and briefly by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giant is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and relax at the lodge.

Day 9; Transfer to Lake Mutanda

Have breakfast and transfer to Lake Mutanda, on this day you will carry out activities like Batwa walk and nature walk.

Day 10; Golden Monkey Tracking.

Have breakfast and drive to Mgahinga national park for Golden Monkey tacking. After tracking you will drive back to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 11; Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

Day 13, Lake Mburo

After breakfast and a brief visit to Kabale town, you will start your journey to Lake Mburo. This is small national park that should not be underestimated. It is the only place in southern Uganda to see zebras, and the only park in the country with impales, slender mongoose, and giant bush rats. You can also look for hyenas, leopards, topis, elands, and the beautiful Rothschild’s giraffes, not to mention the lake itself that is teeming with hippos and crocodiles. There are a lot of wonderful activities on offer here, including horseback-riding, bush walks, boat safaris, and mountain biking.  It is exciting to approach the wildlife at such close range here, especially when you combine it with the fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Day 14; Game drive and transfer to Kampala

After the morning breakfast, have a game drive as you say farewell to the Uganda`s wildlife. With enroute lunch, you will have a stopover at the equator. Later embark on your journey to Kampala. Upon arrival, you may opt for Kampala night life.

Day 15; Kampala city tour

Wake up with the beautiful sunrises with in the city. Embark on your journey visiting Kampala`s top tourist attractions. You will meet different people and experience their style of living.

 

 

Day 16; Transfer  to Entebbe
